Henry and June Act 1
Henry & June Writers Strike June thinks for too long now, her and Henry have been taking the writers at KaBlam! for granted. The viewers should forget about the co-hosts, as the real stars of the show are the writers! Henry doesn't get it, but June is just reading the cue cards, held by Lyle Baxter. Henry then goes on to read the next card, where it says the writers are going on strike, as they will no longer work on the show unless they get higher salaries, dental benefits and tangy buffalo wings on the snack table! June says they're "punks" and Henry thinks to "flush them," as the show can be done without the writers, since they've just been holding the co-hosts back. So, Henry tells everyone to get ready for the new, improved, writer-free KaBlam!. Suddenly, they have no idea what to do now, until the stage manager whispers in June's ears to turn the page. Henry introduces "a really good...cartoon!" in Sniz and Fondue, much to June's approval.

Sniz and Fondue
Sniz & Fondue The Great Chili Cookoff

The Great Chili Cookoff

Sniz and Fondue are watching the news, with a report about two model rocket enthusiasts (which were them) causing a passing airplane to destroy the city's firehouse. However, the fire department will be holding a chili cookoff to pay for its new firehouse. Fondue thinks that's boring, but the news anchor mentions that the maker of the hottest chili will get to ride in a shiny, new fire truck, which suddenly excites him and Sniz! They get right to work in the kitchen, as Sniz cuts up the jalapeños while Fondue stirs the chili. Fondue says not to mix them together, as it will upset the delicate balance of "flavorocity." Sniz thought they were making the nastiest chili ever, and Fondue says they are, but the best way to do it is by following the recipe and offers a sample to Sniz, but he isn't impressed, until he pours hot sauce in it. Fondue thinks Sniz ruined the chili, and he is hereby dismissed from Operation Fire Truck. Sniz says he'll make his own chili instead. Later, Sniz samples his chili which is flaming hot and recoils him to the wall, but he approves, while Fondue isn't amused. Sniz thinks Fondue sounds worried, but he assures that his chili rocks Sniz's mother's house and doesn't need to change a thing! Sampling it, however, he does think something is wrong. Later in the night, Fondue comes out of his bedroom to sneak down to the kitchen until falling over a trap set by Sniz. Fondue pleads he was just coming down for a glass of water, but Sniz isn't buying the excuse, thinking he was coming down to steal the chili magic. Fondue tells Sniz not to flatter himself, and questions why he's down in the kitchen anyway, thinking he may steal his best friend's chili. Sniz asks why would he want to do that, because Fondue's chili redefines the term "lame chili," and the two fight. The next day at Firehouse 13B, Sniz and Fondue present their creations to the firefighters, as the chief says they are some hot-looking chilis, knowing one of the two is going to get that opportunity to ride in the shiny, new fire truck. Sniz and Fondue envision themselves both riding in it, and they make up, wondering what fun is riding in it if they can't do it together? Fondue says they've let the chili demon get their undies all bunched up, and he pours his chili into Sniz's, proclaiming from now on, it's "one chili, indivisible with herbs and peppers for all!" Suddenly, the chili erupts, hitting a satellite in space which comes down to Earth and destroys Firehouse 13B. Sniz admits that Fondue makes one nasty hot chili. However, Fondue digresses, saying it was all Sniz. Sniz guesses they're both "fiery kitchen dudes" and Fondue asks the firefighters about getting the ride in the fire truck, but they blast them with the hose.

Henry and June Act 2
Henry & June Moderation Fail With the writers now on strike, Henry and June have a sack full of killer ideas, like Backwards Day, as everything on the show will be backwards! As they walk backwards into the comic book, they bump into each other, with Henry saying "ow, that hurts!" June, however, keeps the Backwards Day act going, correcting him with "hurts, that ow." Henry says "yeah, whatever, June." but once again, she corrects him with "June, whatever, yeah!" Henry now has had enough of Backwards Day, and June assumes it's because he didn't think of it, but Henry argues that it's a lame idea, and pleads for her to go to Action League Now!. June obliges, but reminds him that it's Backwards Day. Henry asks who cares, but June tells him "care, should you." A grumbling Henry struggles with getting his shirt turned around, before the turning page (from the opposite side) knocks him down the comic book.

Action League Now!
Action League Now! Mad Dogs and Englishmen

Mad Dogs and Englishmen

The Action League has successfully captured the Mayor and prepares to literally imprison him in a cooler at Action Headquarters. The Chief is pleased, as he has waited a long time to put the Mayor away. As a reward for a job well done, he decides to treat everyone to chips and salsa, courtesy of the taxpayers. The Flesh and Thundergirl chant for the salsa, but Stinky Diver says to count him out, as he has stuff to do. Thundergirl gets the feeling Stinky doesn't like them, but the Chief says he has every reason to; they're a bunch of morons, but there's more to Stinky's mood than just that. The Chief will explain Stinky's past after he gets back from the bathroom, which the Flesh and Thundergirl are disgusted by. When the Chief returns, he tells the League not to go in the bathroom for a while, and now begins the story of Stinky's past. During the Gulf War, Stinky was on a secret mission, searching around in the gross and putrid sink, but the enemy had somehow been tipped off and turned on the garbage disposal, sending him down. When Stinky recovered, he discovers who ratted him out; his own mother! Something died in Stinky that day, so the Flesh figures out that must be the reason why Stinky smells so bad, but everyone else isn't amused. Outside, Stinky transforms his heartache into haiku. Suddenly, he hears a strange sound and turns around, where a dog appears from behind a garbage can and begins licking him. Stinky notes that the dog is smelly, just like him, so he names him Smelly and they become friends! That day, Stinky and Smelly spend all their time together; they first drink from the toilet, and then play fetch. Stinky throws a stick, but Smelly brings back Bill the Lab Guy instead. After that, they play fetch in the bathroom and go out for a walk. Of course, since Smelly is much bigger than Stinky, his leash drags him across the road. Stinky lets go and gets run over by a motorcycle, but Smelly licks his pieces. Despite being broken, Stinky still loves his new furry friend. The next day, the Chief wants the "dog goner than a hanging curve at a homerun derby," but Stinky sings that Smelly is his best friend. The Chief then reminds Stinky that Smelly is using the Flesh as a chew toy, while Thundergirl and Meltman have gone missing. It is revealed that Smelly buried them out in the yard, with Meltman trying to persuade Thundergirl to give a little "sugar," but she slaps him. Stinky tells the Chief that Smelly is a good dog, so he just has to get to know him more. Smelly then appears and starts chewing on the Chief. Stinky thinks Smelly just wants to play, but suddenly, Smelly drops the Chief and runs away. Stinky is confused, as Smelly opens the cooler and sets the Mayor free, who reveals that Smelly is his pooch, and his real name is "Bad Dog!" He then orders Bad Dog to attack Stinky, who is distraught, thinking they were mates! Just as it looks like Bad Dog is about to bite Stinky to death, Stinky's mother, Sally, appears and tells the Mayor, who is holding onto Bad Dog's leash, that nobody double-crosses her son but her. Sally fires her spear gun at the Mayor, launching him off the cooler and onto Bad Dog's butt, causing Bad Dog to run out of the house and into the street, dragging the Mayor along. From this, the Mayor loses his arm and gets left behind, causing a car to run over him into pieces. Stinky, covered in slobber, thanks his mother for saving his life, asking her how she could rat him out back in the Gulf War. Sally explains that she did it for the money and apologizes to him for losing his dog. Stinky assures her that it's okay, as he has found someone more important; her, as they hug.

Henry and June Act 3
Henry & June Magic Trick June welcomes back everyone, and explains the writers are still on strike. However, there's no need to fret, since a pants load of quality entertainment is in store, courtesy of Henry, or as he prefers, The Great Henrini. Henry encourages the "kabladies" and gentlemen to come along on a magical journey to the magical land of...magic! He needs a volunteer, grabbing Mr. Foot. Henry doesn't mean to be forward, but tells him that he could really stand to bathe a little more often, pulling a quarter out of his ear, as Mr. Foot and June are delighted! Henry then pulls out a chick from his ear, much to Mr. Foot and June's excitement. However, Henry thinks that's not all, as he digs real deep into Mr. Foot's ear and takes out his brain, before everyone is disgusted. Henry puts it back in as June prefers some cartoon magic instead, using her ways to turn the page to Prometheus and Bob.

Prometheus and Bob
Prom & Bob Bed

Tape #254, Bed

Prometheus turns on one of his gadgets, which creates a bed. He then wakes up Bob from his sleep in a tree, and tells him to sleep on the bed. Instead, Bob crawls underneath the bed to sleep. Next, Prometheus tries to drag Bob out from under the bed, before Monkey comes down with one of Bob's toys. Prometheus takes it and puts it on the bed, telling Bob to sleep with it, but Bob grabs it and goes back into the tree to sleep, as Monkey throws the pillow in behind him for good measure. Then, as Monkey sits on the bed, Prometheus and Bob fight for control of the doll, until it splits apart. Monkey jumps on the bed which inspires Bob to do the same, before he lands on the tree branch above. Finally, Bob is sound asleep on the tree branch as Prometheus finds his teachings have failed, before sitting on the bed occupied by Monkey. Prometheus shoos him off, before he presses the button on the bed to fold it back up. Prometheus is suffocating, until he runs into the tree to knock Bob back down to the ground and crashes into the camera, destroying it.

Henry and June Act 4
Henry & June Classic Humor During the commercial break, Henry and June had a chance to reflect on the quality of their show so far, and it stinks. Ever since the writers' strike started, June thinks she and Henry have been trying too hard, and he agrees; it's time to get back to basics! So from now on, they'll be giving the viewers the old-fashioned, focus group-tested kablamity. Mr. Foot then slams Henry through the floor, and he wonders what that was about. June says it was about a 9.5 on the KaBlam! Classic Comedy Meter, but the next cartoon, Life with Loopy, is a perfect 10!

Life with Loopy
Life with Loopy Sweet Dreams

"Sweet Dreams"

Larry asks if you have had a recurring dream...the same one night after night? If it was a cool dream, he might be into it, but the one he was having the week before totally recalibrated the bogus meter. In the dream, he is in a classroom, remembering the major exports of Slovakia; coal, iron, copper and salt. After five nights in a row, Larry said it was really getting to him. Mom thinks it's his diet, while Dad recommends that he go easy on the cheese snacks. Loopy suggests brain surgery, but Larry can only groan and she thinks he really does need some help. Looking in a phonebook, Loopy finds Dreamland Studios, the place where dreams are made and is open all night. Later, Loopy sneaks out and passes by an asleep, struggling Larry in his bedroom, on her way to Dreamland. Walking into the studio, she takes the elevator to the 592nd floor and finds the dream writing department office. Going in, she finds two workers and confronts them about her brother Larry's "lousy" dreams. However, they take offense, as one pleads they had to write 52,000,000,000 dream scripts in a month, are burnt out, have writer's block and are out of ideas! The other says that they had to put Larry in reruns. Loopy is appalled, saying it's driving him nuts and she's not leaving until the "slumber bums" do anything about it! They will try their best, and say the shooting of Larry's dream is taking place on Stage 4. Going down to take a look, Loopy finds Larry, but the workers say it's just a visual manifestation of his inner psyche. As the dream starts, Larry recites the major exports of Slovakia; coal, iron, copper and salt. One of the workers admits it's not that bad of a dream, but the other digresses. Loopy thinks there's something they can do to liven the dream up, as Larry wonders what she is doing in his dream, but Loopy is here to help. She finds a door that warns one not to open, but does anyway, spawning a nightmare. Loopy assures everything's under control, before the nightmare attacks her. The workers say it's horrible and terrible, but they urge to keep the cameras rolling! As the nightmare threatens Loopy, Larry in his sleep is struggling until he stands up in the dream, telling the nightmare to stay away from his sister. He then finds a plug on it, pulls it, and the nightmare deflates. The workers are happy with how the dream ended up, while Loopy congratulates Larry, who boasts that he could've done it with his eyes closed, giving the workers an idea for a sequel. Larry says ever since that night, he's been having the greatest dreams, but the only problem is they're so cool, he never wants to wake up, as Dad and Mom are trying their hardest to.

Henry and June Act 5
Henry & June Writers are back! Henry says to look at the time, and can't believe KaBlam! is almost over, until he asks the stage manager (who motions to "stretch") how much time is actually left. Henry tries to stall, until June has great news; the writers' strike is over! Henry is relieved, because the making-it-up stuff was just weird. June agrees, because thinking creatively is a big drag. Henry can't wait to see what kind of genius material they've got for the end of the show, as Mr. Foot once again slams him through the floor. June says to the writers (Chris Viscardi, Will McRobb and Robert Mittenthal) it was their best work ever, as they dig into the tangy buffalo wings on the snack table. June asks if they want to close the comic book, but Mittenthal says that's not in their contract. June understands, and closes it herself, telling the viewers "see ya, wouldn't wanna be ya!"
