Henry and June Act 1 | |
A rough-looking June greets the lovers of the cartoon cram, and they've got a real "kablamaganza" coming at everyone, asking Henry if that's right. However, he is nowhere to be found until coming out of the bathroom, and doesn't understand what she is talking about. Yet, June clarifies it's a "kablamaganza" — take KaBlam!, smash it into extravaganza — but she gives up hope, and they're just phoning it in since this is network TV and thinks they could be canceled at any moment! So, they have to live each show as if it were their last. Henry says he and June promised the audience a "kablamaganza" so after they take it from the top by flipping into the comic book again, they encounter a group of ninjas! June thinks there's too many and they'll never defeat them, but Henry tells her to never say never and just say "hi-ya!". While they'll save the world from people who know kung fu and stamp out boring, humdrum television, June recommends the viewers watch Race Rabbit.
Race Rabbit | |
"The Championship" Gabby McShouts-Alot announces from the Sir Walter Raleigh rally, where Race Rabbit is in the lead! M.A.X. thinks they're finally going to win a rally without one single call or interruption, but Race thinks she spoke too soon as an alert sounds. M.A.X. pleads that he shouldn't answer since it may just be a wrong number, but to no avail, as Race finds out it's The Minister of Sweets from the Big International Peace Conference. He tells Race to pick up microfilm from Agent 00000007, who is stranded on the road, and get it to the peace conference "PDQ" as it is the top recipe for strawberries and cream, emphasizing that it's the only thing that will keep the generalissimo at the table. Race says not to worry, as he's on it like a "wig on a lord." Agent 00000007, while getting the tire changed on his vehicle, hands the microfilm over to Race, and wishes him Godspeed. Race calls the Minister back, who warns him that the recipe has been a national secret since the 14th century, and dessert chefs around the world will do anything for it! Race says they'll have to catch him first, just as a group of chefs in their vehicle begin pursuit and launch pies at him. Race tries using his turbo deflector shield, but it is on the fritz. M.A.X. wonders what else could go wrong, while The Boolies are constructing a heat-seeking missile to launch at Race. With his vehicle locked on, Zit and Winston fight over who presses the red button. Zit then presses it, before he realizes that he is sitting on the missile! M.A.X. alerts Race that Zit is approaching at 500 km/h, while the chefs are about to hurl even larger pies! The Minister, who is overseeing a fist fight between the Royal Highness and general, calls Race and asks him if he's in trouble, as all of his alerts are beeping at once. However, Race thinks there's no trouble at all, and he was just about to order lunch, shooting five-alarm Texas chili at the chefs as Zit and the missile collide with them. After Race gets the microfilm to the peace conference, the general eats the strawberries and cream, calling it "incredibleissimo" as a newspaper article shows that he signed the treaty along with the Royal Highness! Gabby McShouts-Alot says it has been an incredible day, as a worldwide global international crisis has been averted, and Race is moving up on the leaders. Race tells M.A.X. there's only one thing sweeter than strawberries and cream; winning!
Henry and June Act 2 | |
On top of a train, Henry defends himself against what appears to be Mr. Foot and greets the citizens of the United States of Action, telling them they better buckle in since it's "kablamaganza" time. June agrees; talk about living each show as if it were their last! Mr. Foot says they picked a nice day to take the train and also to die, as he peels off his rubber mask to reveal Academy Award-winning actor Jon Voight, much to Henry's excitement! Voight says it's a great show with nice action stuff, but he's sorry he can't stay, as the train nears a tunnel and he reaches out to a rope under a helicopter. June thinks Voight won't get away that easy, hooking the rope up to the train, and wonders how they afforded all of this! Fred Stockdale climbs up the train and is glad she asked, explaining he loves choo-choo trains and what he does is move the money around, taking it out of one spot and moving it to another spot. June wonders where he moved the money out of to pay for all the stuff, as Stockdale says it came from the color department (the color in the segment disappears) and the animation budget (the train and helicopter animations come to a quick halt) had to be slashed a bit, too. Voight says the guest-star budget can be slashed as well, as the show is a disaster and is out of here! Henry and June feel glum, but Stockdale thinks it's not so bad, as he'll play Voight's part instead, yet to little enthusiasm from them. While Henry and June try to fix their show, the viewers can fix their eyes on Action League Now!.
Action League Now! | |
Fatter Meltman rides the spinning teacups at Really Big Carnival, while the rest of the Action League keeps their eyes peeled for fortune teller Madame Shyster, who just so happens to be a con artist as well. Thanks to Stinky Diver's "stinky senses," she is right behind them, ready to tell their futures. The Chief can tell hers; she will be going to jail for first degree fraud! However, Madame Shyster simply warns him to stay back, or she will put a curse on his head. The Chief isn't afraid because he doesn't believe in curses, but Madame Shyster puts a special curse on him called "fatter," which he just laughs off, thinking nothing bad will happen. Suddenly, the spinning teacups speed up, launching Meltman into the air and causing him to land on the Chief. Madame Shyster is now behind bars and at Action Headquarters, the League awaits orders from the Chief, who is pigging out on various foods. Even after eating from a takeout container of Chinese food, the Chief (who has gained quite a bit of weight from eating it) is hungry again and orders the League to buy 20 burgers and six buckets of chicken from The Happy Gobbler. In the meantime, he'll be in the kitchen helping himself to a coffee can full of bacon fat. Meltman asks if anyone else notices anything strange about the Chief, the Flesh doesn't, but Thundergirl is worried, thinking he may be overeating. Meltman suggests that they keep an eye on him! Later that day in Big Kitchen Kitchen, the League finds lots of discarded food wrappers all over the floor, wondering where the Chief is. As if getting an answer, they suddenly find him in the refrigerator, having gained even more weight! The League decides that the Chief needs expert medical attention right away. Unfortunately, the Action Health Plan only covers visits to Bill the Lab Guy. At his lab, he asks the Chief when he started getting hungry. Taking a pause from his meal, the Chief recalls that it started right after Madame Shyster put the curse on him at the carnival. Bill disagrees that he doesn't see any connection, but Stinky insists that the curse is making the Chief fatter and fatter. Meltman suggests getting the Chief to Madame Shyster's prison cell before he explodes! The Chief likes this idea, but thinks that they should buy some hoagies on the way. The League begins to roll the Chief towards Madame Shyster's prison cell, which is hard because of his size. Stinky asks the Flesh if his super strength can help them, so he backs up and rams into the Chief, causing him to roll across through the hall and down over the stairs. Stinky then realizes that the Chief is headed right towards the prison! At the bottom of the stairs, Madame Shyster is telling a prisoner his fortune, saying that a mysterious stranger will soon flatter him...or flatten, since she may not be entirely certain. Sure enough, the Chief lands on the prison, crushing it and killing Madame Shyster as well. The Chief congratulates the League on getting him to the cell, then asks where Madame Shyster is. Stinky and Meltman nervously say that he accidentally crushed and killed her. The Chief is furious with the League, as Madame Shyster was the only one who could change him back, realizing he's doomed, but is still hungry! Bill measures the Chief, informing Thundergirl that there's nothing he can do because the Chief will soon "burst open like a rotten piñata." The Chief blames the League because if they hadn't flattened Madame Shyster, he'd be back to normal by now! Stinky then blames the Flesh for pushing the Chief too hard, as the Flesh blames Stinky for shoving the Chief. Outraged by this, Stinky starts attacking the Flesh, who tosses him and makes him land on his spear gun, which is pointed at the Chief, and once its spear hits him, it pops him! This causes all of the food he ate to fly around the lab. However, the Chief is back to normal, rising from the food. The League are happy to see the Chief once more, who congratulates them and asks how he can repay them. The Flesh suggests lunch but the rest of the League and Bill turn to him in silence.
Henry and June Act 3 | |
Now appearing as live-action popsicle-stick puppets, June welcomes everyone back to the "smoking rubble" of what used to be KaBlam!. Thanks to Henry, the show has blown its budget on "whoop-de-doo" special effects and their current animation is what they can only afford. June asks Henry if he's happy, but he tries to convince her that it's cutting edge and is a breakthrough brand of animation called "stickimation." June tells Henry to wake up and smell the artificial flavor; they are paper cutouts glued to pieces of wood, but he clarifies that they are paper cutouts glued to pieces of wood saving the world from evil ninjas, who suddenly reappear in stick puppet form! Henry fights them off, and says it's "kablamaganza" time, but June isn't interested, even as one of the ninjas continuously throws his shuriken at her. Mr. Stockdale then appears, gloating to the ninjas that he kicked their stick in Iwo Jima and he'll kick it now! After a commercial break, June welcomes everyone back. While she and Henry may have busted their show budget, the viewers will bust a gut watching the world premiere of Dave, Son of Hercules!
Dave, Son of Hercules | |
During a band concert at Ron Reagan Junior High School, Dave performs on the timpani, as a seat is empty in the audience, held for his father, Hercules, however, he is stuck in traffic. Back at the concert, Dave plays his clash cymbals, as Hercules arrives to Toll Plaza to pay exact change. While waiting for the gate to go up, the operator says Greek coins aren't allowed, but Hercules says he is who he is, although the operator isn't impressed. For the concert's finale, Dave plays a gong, and the crowd applauds, just as Hercules arrives to the school. He kneels in disappointment as students and their parents are coming outside. Dave wonders what's wrong, and Hercules says he has failed, and as penance, will pluck out his left eye. Dave tells Hercules he shouldn't get all dramatic, and knew he tried his best to make the concert. Hercules says he should have been there, but Dave says it was just as well, referring to when his dad came to his soccer game and Coach Griswold still has to eat through a straw. Hercules says he's proved himself unworthy as a parent and now must consult with the gods, but Dave is not thrilled. Hercules visits the restaurant Souvlaki Boy, and in its drive-thru beseeches the "gods," as he failed his son, wondering what he should do. However, the drive-thru worker gets his manager Mr. Dukakis, telling him it's the "chariot guy" again! Mr. Dukakis recommends Hercules spend quality time with his son, which Hercules thinks is perfect. While in the drive-thru, Hercules orders two Super Combos with double feta, and after Mr. Dukakis asks if he wants fries with them, Hercules says the gods always know! At 5:00 the next morning, Hercules wakes up Dave to let him know they have many adventures planned. While putting his socks on, Dave worries that someone is going to get killed. At a carnival, Hercules will try his luck on one of the "contests," and Dave goes on a ride. Hercules plays a crane game, but while failing to get the item from it, he threatens one of the carnies with his sword before hearing a scream. Hercules climbs up the structure of the Serpent ride and destroys it. The carnival-goers flee, while Dave cowers in embarrassment. Later on at a football game, Hercules apologizes, because when he sees a serpent, it's "slay first, ask questions later." Dave is over it, and hopes his dad won't kill anyone at the game. Not to worry, as from now on, Hercules proclaims nothing but quality time! At halftime, the Mighty Marching Trojans band entertains on the field, but Hercules is in disbelief, thinking a Trojan army still lives. Rushing the field, he grabs one of the goal posts and destroys the Trojan float as the band members run away. The police surround Hercules, and as he tries to fight them off, he sees Dave feeling even more embarrassed while sitting in the stands, and is willing to be arrested. At the jail, Hercules is bailed out by Dave. Hercules says he has failed his son again, and as penance, he will pluck out his own liver! Dave says that won't help anything, and Hercules apologizes, because all he wanted was for them to drink the sweet nectar of quality time, but he has brought scorn upon their heads. To lighten the mood, Dave then admits the day was kind of fun, saying his dad really showed those Trojans, and that serpent was taken down big time! Dave thinks all of it will be really good training for him when he's a demigod someday. Hercules beams with pride and says his heart is full, asking for more quality time, where they will go up and slaughter a cow! Although, Dave has a better idea, skipping rocks at the seashore as he tosses a small stone. Hercules compliments Dave's throw, and tries it himself, with a much larger stone. Hercules says THIS is quality time, and Dave agrees, as nobody has to get hurt. They develop an appetite, where Hercules recommends a Super Combo and Dave asks for it with double feta. As they walk from the seashore, the large stone skipped earlier by Hercules crashes into a ship, causing it to split in half and sink, à la the Titanic.
Henry and June Act 4 | |
Henry and June are back to normal, but in front of a blank background. June says it feels good to not have a popsicle stick behind her, while noticing Henry looking glum. He said a "kablamaganza" was promised to the viewers, but they haven't gotten much. Henry offers to change to another channel for them, but June tells him to wait and thinks they may have gone about the "kablamaganza" thing all wrong. June then says people don't want action, but rather interaction; just her and Henry talking to them like friends! Henry understands, as the scenery begins to return. June can't believe it, and Henry thought the show was all out of money. Mr. Stockdale explains they are, but he decided to pay for it out of his own pocket, and it wasn't cheap. June thinks it's incredible, as Henry asks if it's because Stockdale wanted to reward them for learning a valuable lesson about what people really want from their TV. However, Stockdale says it's because he loves choo-choo trains while one driven by Mr. Foot hits Henry and June! Henry admits to June that was action, and she says it was a real "kablamaganza," nursing her sore back. Henry closes the comic book, telling the viewers he and June will see them when they see them. |

Trivia[]
- This episode was considered "lost media" after last airing in 2001, but Henry and June segment creator Mark Marek uploaded the episode on his website in December 2015, making it finally seen again. It has also since been made available on Paramount+.
- This is the only episode without other regular segments besides Action League Now! (which were Life with Loopy and Prometheus and Bob at the time).
- Final KaBlam! appearances of Race Rabbit and Action League Now!. The latter would then be spun off into a standalone series by late 2001, but canceled in early 2002 after only airing 12 episodes.
- Due to this being the final episode, it was cut from Nicktoons airings. This problem also appeared on some other Nickelodeon shows where the final episode was either not shown on Nicktoons, or canceled altogether.
- The moves used by Henry and June during their fight with the ninjas are based around moves from the Street Fighter series, like the Hadoken and the Tiger Knee.
- The theater where Henry and June are shown as stick figures is a nod to where the show was originally pitched with the name "KaBlam Theater."
