"Untitled" is the ninth episode from the first season of KaBlam!.
"Why June Refuses to Turn the Page" has been considered as an alternate title by fans due to the comic book not showing the back cover (which at the end of each episode always featured the title).
Synopsis[]
Henry and June are your kablammy hosts of KaBlam!, but June takes the hosting to a whole new level. They then put on their best Meltman impressions and try to make the perfect "kablam" sound. To wrap up the episode, June stages a protest to not close the comic book, although the lights go out anyhow!
During Action League Now!, in the aftermath of the death of Helena XXII, Queen of the Pigeons, the Action League is given the task of keeping the four eggs she's left behind safe until they hatch. After accidentally breaking one of them, the Chief makes the League responsible for 24-hour surveillance of the remaining batch. Will there be any offspring left by the end?
In Sniz and Fondue, the two ferret best friends are excited to attend ShapiroCon, everything related to their favorite sci-fi show Battlestar Shapiro. However, Sniz ends up trapping himself and Fondue in an elevator and need a rescue from the star of Shapiro himself!
During Life with Loopy, Loopy investigates what her mother is putting into her disgusting mystery casserole, finding out most of the ingredients she's using are all expired.
Surprising Shorts features the world premiere of Angela Anaconda. In this pilot episode, the titular 8-year-old girl is forced to scrape gum during a class picnic!

Henry and June are your hosts of KaBlam!. However, June thinks she's a game show host, and asks Henry to tell the viewers what they've won! Henry says he and June aren't game show hosts, but she'll be keeping the brand new car, taking it for a spin! Henry explains that every week, KaBlam! presents some of the "'blammiest" cartoons, but June, now thinking she's a talk show host, interrupts to present today's topic; "Bigfoots Who Love Too Much." Henry pleads for her to stop confusing the viewers since they aren't talk show hosts, either, as June (with the crowd behind her booing) says she knew that. Henry says he and June are the guides in every issue of KaBlam! as she, finally thinking she is a beauty pageant host, announces the new "Miss Junior Beast." Henry tells the viewers they shouldn't mind June, since she's just excited about being on TV. However, what they do best is turn the comic book's pages and introduce the first cartoon, Action League Now!. Henry hooks up the car to the comic book as June and Miss Junior Beast in the car drive away to turn the page.
Action League Now! | |
Where Pigeons Dare Part 1 The reign of Helena XXII, Queen of the Pigeons, was tragically cut short after a chance encounter with a Buick LeSabre. While the Action League attends her funeral, the Chief explains she died with no heirs to the throne; only four eggs in a nest. The League has an assignment to protect the eggs at any and all costs. The Flesh and Meltman then play catch with the eggs, against Thundergirl's wishes, and end up breaking one of them. The Chief is unhappy with the way the League is protecting the eggs and wants them on 24-hour surveillance. Meltman and the Flesh take the first shift by watching them on an air conditioner outside, but with the Flesh cold (mainly because he's naked) they decide to move the eggs inside. The Flesh holds the window open while Meltman tries to carry one of the eggs inside. The Flesh tells Meltman to let him know when he can let go. Meltman tells him "yes," and the Flesh, mistaking it for the signal, lets go of the window, squashing Meltman and causing the egg to fly into the air. On the ground, Thundergirl and Stinky Diver are making a joke about Meltman, when the egg lands on her, killing another heir to the dynasty! With only two eggs left, the League decides to use two Grade A jumbo eggs to replace the broken pigeon eggs. They get back to the nest, and realize one of the pigeon eggs has been stolen by two children who are about to throw it at a passing car. Via skateboard, the League is racing towards the children to stop them!
Henry and June Act 2 | |
June flips out as she wants to know what happens in Action League Now!, but Henry says they'll just have to wait until later in the show, and states the fact that even though they are co-hosts of KaBlam!, it doesn't mean they get special privileges! Now wanting to be like Meltman, June tries to melt herself. Henry thinks that's impossible since the Action League superhero has special training, as he and June are only professional comic book characters, not superheroes, but they begin to start melting, anyway! Now as two blobs, they turn the page to the next cartoon, Sniz and Fondue.
Sniz and Fondue | |
Dark Vator Sniz and Fondue have just watched an emotional episode of Battlestar Shapiro but then, an advertisement plays on the television for the first ShapiroCon, getting them excited to attend the upcoming event. At Hotel Pundig, they ride an elevator to ShapiroCon, but Sniz presses the emergency stop button as the elevator reaches the 40th floor, and he plays a game of Rage Cage! After a little fun, Sniz goes to restart the elevator but the emergency stop button pops out of place and Fondue worries that they're stuck! Sniz then pries open the doors on the 45th floor, yelling for help until he sees the entrance to ShapiroCon. However, he gets distracted by touching things he's not supposed to touch and getting in line to meet Rex Tremendo, who stars as Captain Enrico Slax in Shapiro. Sniz steals Rex's wallet and brings it back to Fondue. Rex is hesitant to call security after being led to the elevator, but Fondue's pleading for help convinces him to make a dramatic rescue attempt. Fondue is able to climb out of the hatch by jumping to it and grabbing onto Rex's wrists, but Rex falls into the elevator. Sniz and Fondue then experience ShapiroCon!
Henry and June Act 3 | |
June tries to make the perfect sound for KaBlam! by launching out of a cannonball and bowling, but both attempts fail. She then succeeds by jumping and landing on top of Henry! In pain, he turns the page to Life with Loopy.
Life with Loopy | |
Mom's Mystery Casserole Every Friday night, Larry and Loopy have had to eat their mother's mystery casserole, and they've never been able to get her to tell them what's in it. Loopy decides to figure out what's in the casserole by sneaking into a pantry at 0800 hours. Nothing seemed too suspicious at first, but Loopy finds some food items that are way past their expiration dates. Some of the food items then come to life to swarm her, but their ruler, Sir-Sauce-A-Lot, sends them away. He calls Loopy a naughty little girl and thinks she just couldn't wait till dinner time, encouraging her to try a sample of his fish sauce. Loopy reacts disgustingly and figures out that Sir-Sauce-A-Lot is the secret ingredient of Mom's mystery casserole, calling him "pukier than slug slime." He is insulted by this and sends the food items after her and she is turned into 100% Stewed Loopy Soup. Sir-Sauce-A-Lot brags about being the tastiest food in the pantry and hurls insults at the other items, before they realize he's giving them a bad name and throw him out of the pantry. Larry says that is the end of his and Loopy's casserole on Friday nights, until something new is cooked, Mom's Pickled Yam-Loaf. Larry and Loopy are green in the face as it's placed in front of them!
Henry and June Act 4 | |
June is playing a pipe organ to get the viewers riled up for the conclusion of Action League Now!. Henry asks her if there's anything he can do to help, but June says to just "hold on tight" as the show name spins him to the comic book's corner. Henry sarcastically says it was "cute" as he turns the page.
Action League Now! | |
Where Pigeons Dare Part 2 The two kids, after throwing the egg onto the road, run away when they see the Action League. Meltman tries reviving the egg with a defibrillator, but with no success, as the egg is now fried on the road by the sun. Thundergirl tells Meltman that he tried everything he could, but they must get back to the nest as there's still one egg left and there's still hope. Before Meltman can get back to the nest, he is run over by an ice cream truck. The League returns to the nest with another Grade A jumbo egg to replace the broken one, and they watch over the last egg all night to make sure nothing bad happens to it. They eventually fall asleep but then the Chief returns by morning, telling them that the eggs hatched last night into one prince and three princesses. Meltman says that their eggs haven't hatched yet. The Chief tells them that the eggs have hatched, as he just came from their nest. Thundergirl is confused; if the Chief just came from the Pigeon's nest, then who does the nest they have been egg-sitting belong to? Suddenly, the last egg hatches into a snake, and it eats Meltman who admits he looks great in snakeskin, as everyone has a good laugh.

Angela Anaconda - "Chew on This!" Angela is being driven to school by her mother, since she missed the bus and the dryer broke, having to wear her brother's underwear. Today is the school class picnic and Angela's dad has let her borrow his authentic Air Force aviation solar sunglasses, as nothing can ruin her day, except for Nanette Manoir, a teacher's pet who speaks with a snobbish faux-French accent. The school teacher, Mrs. Ephigenia Brinks, asks class if they're ready for the picnic and Nanette says she's more than prepared with a plate of gelatin but she's sitting in direct sunlight and has sensitive skin. Angela trades seats with her and shows off her sunglasses as classmate Johnny Abatti, a sweet but dim boy, compliments them. Mrs. Brinks then tells Angela to take them off as this isn't Baywatch. Nanette says there's gum under Angela's desk, and she is ordered to scrape it, while the rest of the class goes outside for their picnic. Angela then imagines that Nanette needs to borrow Angela's glasses, with Angela refusing. She then pours "bug juice" (pink lemonade) on Nanette, which attracts bees. Angela then puts a blanket over Nanette, which causes her to fall off a cliff while running, into the municipal sludge treatment plant. Back in real life, Angela stumbles over, while Nanette sees that Angela is wearing boys underwear. As Nanette leaves the classroom after grabbing her plate of gelatin, Angela puts gum under Nanette's desk!
Henry and June Act 5 | |
Henry says KaBlam! has run out of action and run out of time, but June ponders if they didn't turn the last page, the show would be on "forever." Henry is unamused, but June is serious about not turning the page. As she attempts to convince Henry to do the same, he reaches his hand out to the page, before they wrestle for control of it. Henry is bumped across the comic book and June locks the page up, telling all they're going into overtime! However, the lights begin to turn off in the comic book. In a post-credits scene, June is completely in the dark and yelling at Henry to get her out! |
